By addressing loneliness and social isolation, the California Love, California Strong initiative is fostering a stronger sense of community throughout the state. Through self-care, service and volunteerism, we can build a stronger, more united California.

Connecting Californians to each other through neighborism grows a deeper sense of belonging by feeling seen, heard, and valued, without judgment.
Self Care
Moving and breathing with intention can release anxiety, fear, and stress allowing us, as Californians, to connect more deeply.
Service
Through the shared purpose of volunteerism or bearing down barriers to resources, Californians build a more resilient and interconnected community.

Social Health Council:
The first-in-the-nation Social Health Advisory Council is dedicated to connecting California. The council is made up of subject matter experts, community health workers, and state officials, working together to build connections. Because loneliness is an epidemic, and belonging is the antidote.
